I was first licensed in 1979 as a novice. I am trained as an Electrical Engineer but have been in professional sales for the past 30 years selling and marketing hardware and software to the likes of IBM, Lucent, Compaq, Dell, Celestica, Motorola, Solectron, Jabil, Philips, Siemens, and just about every other major global electronic manufacturer.

I have worked in the Mobile Resource Management industry providing hosted GPS/AVP/NAV solutions for productive and cost efficient management of mobile assets - people, vehicles or both. I still consult in this industry.

My club in the 90's was the Fairlawn Amateur Radio Club -- FLARC. FLARC is one of the best amateur radio clubs in the nation. They have frequent speakers and presenters of note, e.g Dr. Joe Taylor (K1JT) of WSPR and FT8 fame (Not to mention a Nobel Laureate), Jonathan Taylor (K1RFD) of EchoLink fame, new ARRL CEO David Minster (NA2AA), and a host of local experts. Check out their Youtube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUoeJg2WLdx1agnMWGE2M1A and website at http://fairlawnarc.org/

I was Deputy Coordinator of Clifton's Office of Emergency Management and led the communications team for several years. Clifton OEM sponsors the 224.360 (KB2N) repeater and supports the communications needs of the EOC, mobile command center, and OEM coordinator. Occasionally, Clifton OEM provides services for special events. I was also a member of Passaic County RACES and ARES. Because of my relocation to Arizona, I have resigned from these organizations but feel privileged to have been a member and contributor.

I am a founder of the Queen Creek Amateur Radio Club and also help to lead the Queen Creek Emergency Communications Group for the Town of Queen Creek.

Please contact me through my email address. If you are a ham in the local Queen Creek/Gilbert/San Tan Valley area and would like access to my EchoLink node at N2QOJ-R (#185734) which is usually online and connected to the N7DJZ Repeater (449.325 MHZ (-) 100.0) located in San Tan Valley AZ, please send me a request via email. Other hobbies include motorcycling and shooting sports.
